Random Art piece - Ideas for a Gothic hand mirror backing.
When I first started to draw this piece I wanted to do something with a skellington feel. So this was the result, I drew the skull at the top of the page and then used the arms to branch up and around. When I drew the arms like this, I then thought that they could possibly be handles or finger grips. After noticing this as a potential jumping off point for the rest of the drawing, I then roughly sketched the rest of the skellington.
That is when I noticed that this could be the back of an old vintage gothic hand mirror. I then decided that i would draw a rose in the middle of the design and then smaller roses in symmetrical points around certain points on the skellingtons body.
